GET INVOLVED!

or just come out and enjoy…

Whether it’s donning a costume to animate the street on December 7th or aligning your brand with Hudson’s largest and most beloved community event by becoming an official sponsor, help make the 28th Anniversary of Winter Walk one to remember.

  • WHEN DOES WARREN STREET CLOSE?

From 3:00pm to 8:30pm on December 7, Warren Street from 2nd street and above is closed to traffic and parking. Please be aware that the City also blocks off access to Warren Street from side streets.

The City begins to clear Warren Street around 4pm. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed starting at 4:45pm.

    WHERE CAN I PARK?

Parking is available in municipal lots on Union or Columbia Streets, the John L Edwards Elementary School, and in other City-owned lots, including the public parking lot at the Consolidated Firehouse at 7th and Washington Streets and the waterfront parking lots at Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. All County lots are also available.

The Columbia Memorial Hospital parking garage at the top of Columbia Street is available, and paid parking is available at the Amtrak long-term parking lot on Front Street, across from the station.

    WHERE IS SANTA?

Visit Santa at Hudson Hall (327 Warren Street). All children receive a free, gift wrapped book.

IS THERE FOOD AT WINTER WALK?

Yes! In addition to the many wonderful restaurants in Hudson, food vendors will be offering an array of delicious savory and sweet food for purchase.

    IS WINTER WALK DOG FRIENDLY?

It is up to each owner to decide what’s best for their four legged friends, but we do not recommend bringing dogs to Winter Walk.

    HOW CAN IT BE FREE?

The Elves at Winter Walk rely on the support of the community to keep Winter Walk a free event. Consider committing to make a donation here.

  • Commit to a sponsorship or donate now to give the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks to all of our current sponsors and supporters! View them all below

  • Apply here to serve food, drink, or table on Warren St. at Winter Walk. We’re accepting applications through November 1st for commercial vendors and non-profit orgs alike.

  • Applications are CLOSED for performing at Winter Walk this year, though some local businesses are still looking for artists to activate their shops on the night of the event.

Consider applying next year, whether you’re interested in performing solo, with your band, or roving the street with your costumed cohort.

  • Are you ready to show off with some winter whimsy in your window? Is your storefront hosting an artist or activity on the day of the walk? Confirm your involvement here so we can make sure to list you on our activity map and send our judges your way!

WINTER WALK IS BETTER WITH FRIENDS 👯

This year’s Winter Walk is being spearheaded by The Foundry at Hudson in close collaboration with the City of Hudson and building off the work of Hudson Hall and innumerable other collaborators over the years who’ve worked to make Winter Walk the treasured event that it is today.

The fireworks display at the end of the evening will be presented by Hudson Hall.

Here, we offer our heartfelt thanks here to individuals, businesses, and organizations as they support us
